Chandrayaan-3 :-
Moon-craft, is the third and most recent Indian Lunar exploration mission under the Chandrayaan programme of ISRO. It consists of a lander named Vikram and a rover named Pragyan similar to Chandrayaan-2 Its propulsion module would act like an orbiter. The propulsion module carries the lander and rover configurations until the spacecraft is in a 100-kilometer (62mi) lunar orbit.

Where is Chandrayaan-3 now?
The spacecraft is now in 41603 km * 226 km orbit. The first orbit-raising maneuver (Earthbound firing-1) is successfully performed at ISTRAC/ISRO. Bengaluru. Spacecraft is now in 41762 km * 173 km orbit. LVM3 M4 vehicle successfully launched Chandrayaan-3 into orbit.

Chandrayaan-3 status :-
At present chandrayaan 3 Vikram Lander is circling in the Moon’s orbit and soon it will reach the nearest orbit and from there ISRO will start landing Vikarm Lander on the moon’s South Pole. Now till 22 august 2023, there is night on the moon and on 23 august 2023, the landing program will be executed. On this day the sun will take place.
However, there the propulsion was released as the would increase the speed of the lander. From August 18, 2023, Vikram Lander has been separates and will have to complete the further journey til landing alone. Now it is a difficult time for ISRO because Chandrayaan-2 had completed all these processes which Chandrayaan-3 has completed.The last 20 minutes will be very important for everyone to make the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on 23rd August2023.
